Themed as “Growing Your Money In Turbulent Times”, The 5th Public & Business Financial Expo 2009 (PBF Expo), an annual financial exhibition & seminar event organized by Money Compass magazine has been officially scheduled on May 30, 31 this year at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The Opening ceremony will be officiated by YB Dato’ Wira Chor Chee Heung, Deputy Minister of Finance.
PBF Expo has been held for 5 years since 2005. The event’s targeted audiences are general public, financial practitioners as well as SMI & SME. The organizer has planned for several unprecedented forums which the CEOs, Chairman and Presidents of major local trust fund companies, securities firms, insurance companies, insurance associations and other major financial institutions to together to do some interesting comment on financial and economy trend and market outlook.
This Financial Expo has gained great response from the public and the industry in last 4 years. The upcoming 5th PBF Expo 2009 is going to be another milestone for this annual financial planning and investment showcase in Malaysia, anticipating the strong participation from the industry, SMI & SME businessmen and general public.
The Organizing Chairman, Ms Amy Seok has pointed out that the ultimate goal of the event is to provide continuous education to the public on the importance of prudent financial planning and smart investment, especially during the uncertain times.
